Made from a blend of corn flour and buckwheat flour, the original recipe calls for a rich addition of butter and cheese, mixed directly into the polenta during the final stages of cooking.
COOKING TIPS:
For 8 servings:
- Water: 2.5 liters
- Salt: ½ tablespoon
- “Polenta Taragna” flour: 500 g
Instructions:
- Salt and bring the water to a boil.
- Remove from heat.
- Slowly pour in the flour while stirring carefully to avoid lumps.
- Return to the heat and bring back to a boil for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Season with butter and cheese to taste and serve hot.
