No-Bake Oat & Chocolate Cake – Ilaria Moretti

Preparation

 This delicious dessert requires no special skills, no baking expertise, and not even an oven—just 10 minutes of your time.

In a small saucepan, bring the plant-based milk to a gentle boil. If you like, dissolve a tablespoon of dried fig leaves in it.

Note: Fig leaf powder is optional—it’s not necessary for the recipe to succeed—but it gives a natural coconut and vanilla aroma that pairs wonderfully with chocolate.

Once the milk is hot, add 200 g of dark chocolate (cut into pieces) and stir until fully melted.

Remove from heat and add La Veronese® Whole Oat Flakes, mixing thoroughly to combine all ingredients.

Your chocolate dessert is almost ready: pour the mixture into a baking pan lined with parchment paper and level it with a spoon.

Melt the remaining dark chocolate and spread it over the surface of the cake for an extra indulgent coating.

Finally, let your oat and chocolate cake cool in the refrigerator until fully set. Enjoy it anytime you crave a sweet, wholesome, gluten-free, and lactose-free treat.

70% Dark Chocolate – 300 g
